A neighborhood 40 years in the making
Mirabella stands on the same corner where Mirabell Restaurant served Irving Park for nearly four decades — a place that meant something real to the people who lived here. When we opened, honoring that history wasn't a choice; it was the only right way to begin.
Chef Arturo's 20-year foundation
Before opening Mirabella, Chef Arturo spent 20 years as head chef at one of the best steakhouses in downtown Chicago — the kind of experience that gets into your hands and never leaves. He brought that craft here, to his own neighborhood, and built the menu he'd always wanted to cook.
Where two traditions meet
The menu is exactly what it sounds like: rich Italian flavors — Grilled Calamari, Linguine with Clams, Chicken Mirabella — sharing the table with Broiled Bone-in Ribeye, Filet Mignon, and Lamb Chops. Two traditions that, it turns out, belong together.
