Best Italian Restaurant in Irving Park, Chicago

We came here spontaneously while celebrating our daughter’s 8th birthday, and it turned out to be a great choice! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was professional and friendly, and to finish the evening we had an amazing dessert — ice cream with fresh fruit prepared right at our table, almost like a little show. The restaurant filled up very quickly, which created a really nice atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our visit and would gladly come back!

Had a wonderful meal this evening! Phil was our server and he was outstanding! I didn’t know this place existed but I’m happy our friends recommended it. We didn’t have reservations and were seated immediately. We ate early but by the time we left the restaurant had filled up. We had calamari and meatballs for appetizers, wedge salad and for dinner, lasagna, spaghetti bolognese and our wives shared chicken, sausage and peppers ( that dish was amazing! All the food was delicious. No dessert…

Unassuming exterior is greeted with cozy and clean interior and delightful overall experience with excellent food and even better service. Ernesto and staff was accommodating and made everyone feel comfortable. I would recommend for dates, family dinners and birthdays - the whole restaurant joined in singing happy birthday. Terrific experience.

Mirabella is a legend. Along with authentic Italian specialities, they serve the most amazing cocktails. Martini lovers, this is your best bet in Chicago! They also have a solid wine menu. I go there for veal chop or ribeye, cooked to perfection and served with flavorful vesuvius potatoes. The service is unmatched, with extremely kind and friendly wait stuff. Thank you Mirabella team, you make this gorgeous city even more beautiful.

Excellent service and excellent entrees! Perfect spot for a fancy date night or special occasion. Our waiter Carlos was very attentive and had a great sense of humor. He made the dining experience memorable! Also, the menu is overwhelmingly delicious- I will be back to try more entrees. I highly recommend the grilled calamari and shrimp to start and that you save room for the Bananas Foster - which is prepared table-side. My husband had the Ribeye steak, friends had the broiled Branzino…
